The rotary display is dipositif to display a message on a ring that seems to float in the air. It consists of a vertical column of 8 LEDs rotating at high speed around a central axis.

An embedded microcontroller manages the switching on and off of the LEDs. A light barrier is used to detect the completion of a revolution. Thus, the microcontroller calculates the speed to constantly display a message readable.

A PC interface allows you to change the message. When rotating the display is stopped, it is connected to a computer. We send the new message and when it restarts, it displays the new text.
