Remote control

The purpose of this project was to develop a system that counts the points in real time during a robotics competition. The two robots that competed were popping balloons with 4 different colors. The scores should be posted in real time to the public and the competitors.


The solution consisted of two identical remote control equipped with buttons corresponding to the color of balloons popped by each team. These remotes are connected via an RS232 cable to the same computer where an interface programmed with LabView manages the counting and the display of the points.
